During the late 1950s the car was raced in Singapore, before being imported to New Zealand by Paul Vercoe. In 1979 the Doretti was purchased by Chris Olson in Wanganui NZ and in 1986 he shipped the car to Australia.
2003 update: - Full body-off restoration. Note that this is one of only 3 Dorettis worldwide with a factory hardtop. It has a modified grille. Car is now on Historic plates. Other changes include Commission number from 1148 to 1198, engine from TS2948E to TS3690E and interior from black to tan.
