Welcome to the TR Register - North Wales
The group was established to provide help, information and activities for Triumph TR enthusiasts who live in North Wales and the surrounding area. Although it is a small group, it is a friendly organisation that includes members with Triumph TR sports cars ranging from the TR2 to the TR6, who have been meeting together for over twenty years. There are also Triumph-based derivatives such as the Swallow Doretti and a Peerless among the vehicles belonging to group members. Close links are maintained with the Red Rose and the Shropshire TR Register Groups and a number of joint activities take place during the year. The North Wales Group holds regular monthly meetings which are supported by a programme of events throughout the year. Social activities include weekends in Wales and elsewhere, treasure hunts, motor museum visits and other trips to places of interest. The monthly meetings take place on the first Sunday of each month, from noon onwards at the King's Head Inn located in Llanrhaeadr, on the A525 about 3 miles south of Denbigh going towards Ruthin.
Many group members have personally rebuilt their own cars and thus have a vast fund of knowledge covering just about everything from engine and gearbox overhauls to chassis and bodywork repairs.
