TREASURER’S REPORT FOR YEAR
ENDED 31st JANUARY 2009.
1) Year Ending
It is proposed that the North Wales TR Group
accounting year runs from 1st February to 31st January
each year.
2) Income & Expenditure Account for Year
Ended 31st January 2009.
The year started with a balance of: £144.94.
Income Generated in the year was: £146.14
Expenditure in the year was: £112.93
The year end balance is: £178.15
3) New Bank Account with Barclays Bank PLC
A new bank account was opened with Barclays
Bank Plc, Denbigh Branch, known as a ‘Community Account’ which provides:

transaction charges for the life of the account.
·
Cheque
book.
·
Paying-in
book.
·
Debit
card (if required)
·
On-line
banking.
·
One,
two or more signatory options.
No credit interest is paid but, if funds become
sufficient, an “instant access” account is offered with interest being paid
gross on the proviso that the NW Group turnover does not exceed £100,000 per
annum.
The authorised signatories are Alan, Selwyn jointly,
and Patrick singularly.
It is proposed that the signatories remain
unchanged for the forthcoming year to avoid any unnecessary effort in arranging
the changes.
4) Existing Bank Accounts with Lloyds TSB
The existing bank accounts with Lloyds TSB,
Crewe Branch, were inherited from the Triumph TR Car Club. The Barclays account
is perhaps more convenient at the present time and it is proposed to close
these accounts, in conjunction with Barry, and transfer the balance to the
Barclays Account.
5) Future Expenditure
There is no committed expenditure at the
moment.
It is understood the TR Register will grant up
to £150 per year for certain approved expenditure, one half payable on request
and the balance on presentation of receipts for the full amount.
Any suggestions to be put to the Group Leader
in the first instance.
6) Acceptance of Accounts for Year Ending 31st
January 2009.
It is proposed that the Accounts for the Year
Ending 31st January 2009 be accepted by the meeting.
